Philosophy and Goals
We, the St. Raphael community, strive to strengthen Christian values of our students, parents, faculty and staff and parishioners.  Jesus, as found in the Gospel, is the model of our faith, and the center of our lives and worship.  In the spirit of Vatican II, we provide a variety of liturgical experiences, and teach the moral precepts and doctrines of the Catholic Church.

Parents are the primary educators of their children.  They share this responsibility with the teachers and support them in a cooperative and caring relationship in the religious formation and academic, social and physical development of the students.  Priests, parents, and teachers unite in the belief that Sunday worship is essential to the faith development of our school community.

We provide a strong foundation in the traditional areas of study.  We also promote the fine arts and utilize modern techniques to ensure that our students possess the skills necessary for life in a technological society.

As a Catholic school community, we share an awareness of God alive and at work in us.  We recognize the uniqueness of each and strive to develop the special talents of each person.  We encourage our students to reach out to others in need beyond our school community.

Mission Statement
The mission of St. Raphael School is to form our children in the Catholic faith with Jesus as our master teacher.  We, also, prepare them for the next stage of their lives by striving for academic excellence through an ever-evolving curriculum.  We rely on all the members of our school community - the parents, the priests, the teachers and the parishioners to accomplish this endeavor.
